"Pass me the Scissors- They'll Strangle me if I let Them" 22 x 30, Pencil, 2008 Persoal Collection This piece is to symbolize my escape from all the negativity I went through puberty with. If you know about my childhood, you know it wasn't sunshine and roses. These are the words I heard a lot when I was teenager, before I was kicked out to my Father. The figure is supposed to be reaching out- for scissors, whatever, because the ties of the words can only suffocate one if you let them. You have to choose to let go or get over them.
