Artwork is only limited by your imagination. Anything you can conceive, we can create. Every piece is lovingly crafted and intensely workd on regardless of size and material. The cost of a commission is a very fluid concept when pertaining to the creation of your original idea. We try to make it as simple as possible for you. The example below gives you an idea of the creation and commission process. The example I'll use is the piece that was commissioned entitled "Daphne~ Goddess of Rifles & Rock". First, contact us! Tell us what your idea is and when you need it by. If you have any references, show them. Try to convey your idea as much as you can or just let us know you have an idea and we'll help develop it. You'll be contacted next with information depending on where you are. If you live in the area, a face to face meeting will be scheduled. Usually just a sit down lunch or drinks in a coffee shop. If you do not live in the area, many emails will be exchanged as we try to nail down your idea. An estimate of what the price will be is given. For 'Daphne', I had to incorporate the woman in the style of my 'Goddess' Series with items that she loved or defined her in some way; her guitar, a specific gun, a seagull, and the air force logo. It is during this time that some very rough sketches are produced to see if what we see is what you're trying to get to. When we say rough, we mean rough.
The layout of the second drawing was preferred. A bit improved rough drawing is produced to make sure we're still going the right way. This drawing is where you make any changes you feel like. Add, take away or start all over. If there is a major change to be made that you decided, now is the time to say it.
Lastly, is the base sketch drawing. This is where you will put down the deposit (1/2 of the total price) and a contract is signed by both artist and client. This drawing is basically a line art of what the piece will look like in the end. Once approved and paid for, the drawing is finished.
You'll be contacted the moment the drawing is finished. You receive the drawing after the last payment is made (the other half of the total price) and you have your idea in real life. Contact us to inquire about making your vision come to life!
