You'll find a lot of self-portraits. This was my favorite one for a long time. I wanted my own wings to fly with. These peacock wings showed how I felt I was connected to the peacock in an odd way; I used to say I would be nature's first oxymoron, a female peacock. I depicted myself carved from Amber, the color/gemstone I'm named after.
